The beaches in Puerto for me were just fair. Unlike the other beaches I have been to but what is superb about the place is the dive site. It was very splendid. Fish of different sizes and colors, corals that are darn pretty! That underwater beauty on your very own eyes you could almost touch it (be wary though some of them stings). It was really a wonderful experience.

Just wanted to share my clumsy story….

Ever since I have experienced camping during high school., I have been such a fan of adventure sports. Well, not too extreme but I prefer this kinds of sports rather than engaging in some contact sports. I love sports climbing.

When we were in CAT Camping, I have first experienced rappelling, combat games etc, I felt really nervous when were asked to go down on a hill around 3 storey building by just a rope tied to my waist and holding it to stay put. I was really scared. OMG, how am I supposed to do this? What made it scarier is that the girl before me was annoyingly screaming and didn’t even move for more than an hour. I was like, was this supposed to be this hard? Anyway, time for my turn, I was shaking and so scared, I didn’t scream though. Haha. But I got anxious that it was me who has to move the rope for me to go down. What if I accidentally let go of the rope, so I was clinging for my dear life, and slowly, I appreciated it and enjoyed it. I learned to trust myself and to trust the people who says I can do it. I enjoyed and learned as well.

barefoot wall climbing. my first time and i forgot to bring my socks. sucks to be me...

Aside from the beautiful Panagbenga Festival, Baguio is a city that does not let you stay in your hotel room. There are a lot of stuff to learn and so many places to see. Plus you don’t have to bother traveling late at noon because of its cool weather. Just driving around is already enjoyable because of the trees and flowers that you don’t usually see in the streets in Manila.
Fast Facts

Baguio is independently famous. But actually for those who didn’t know, Baguio is a part of the Benguet Province. We were actually asking people there from which province they belong to. So there, Benguet was their unanimous answer :D

Baguio’s warmest temperature to-date is 26 degrees Celsius!

I read from Wiki that, the name of the city was derived from the word “bagiw” in Ibaloi (the indigenous language of the Benguet region), meaning ”moss.”

Baguio is 250km away from Rizal Park! :D
