Zoobic Safari: A Wildlife Sanctuary in Zambales
Zoobic Safari, located in the heart of the forest of Subic Bay Freeport Zone in the province of Zambales, is a wildlife sanctuary amusement park that lets you see exotic animals roaming and frolicking
in their natural habitat. It is considered as the first and only tiger safari in the Philippines, and probably the closest to the real wild animal jungle safari around.
I went here with my family at around 1pm on November 24, 2012.
How to go to Zoobic Safari
By public transportation. Ride a bus (Victory Liner) going to Olongapo and alight at the terminal, it’s near the APO monument. Take a yellow jeepney up to Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBMA) main gate then walk to the taxi stand and take a taxi then tell the driver to drop you off at Zoobic Safari. Fare is around P400.
By private transportation. Take North Luzon Expressway and exit in San Fernando, Pampanga. Follow the signs going to Olongapo. Take the Tipo-Subic expressway to go to SBMA. It takes around 2 1/2 hours from Balintawak, Quezon City to Zoobic Safari.
